Projects
I have had the opportunity to do professional freelance graphic design and motion graphic for a variety of organisations, including local community groups, charitable organisations and NHS communications. I utilise a combination of branding, storytelling and modern technology to create effecting designs that help promote the organisation's visual style. Listed below are the projects that I have run and managed.
Royal United Hospitals
In 2025, I interned at the Royal United Hospitals NHS Trust in Bath, as a Post Production Assistant in their Communications Office.
In this role, I assisted the video lead with the animation and post-production of various graphics, video editing and promotional materials.
This including animating various characters created for the hospital’s communications and promotion.
I used Adobe Illustrator and After Effect to create a variety of stock animation that could be cut and placed into different materials, for easy use by other staff within the hospital.
Immersive Therapy
While acting as a Post-Production Assistant at the Royal United Hospitals, I also worked on an immersive cinema experience, where we used Unreal Engine to create a VR simulation, in collaboration with the Bath Symphonium.
Using Unreal, Blender and After Effects, I created realtime simulations for a variety of 'mediation loops' than ran in levels using orchestral music, as a way to promote mental health within the hospital.
This simulation ran on both a VR headset, as well as within an immersive cube cinema at the hospital.
Bristol Homeless Action Week
In 2019 and 2020, I helped Bristol Homeless Action Week to create logo for their branding and promotion. As part of this, I created a variety of designs that went through stages of feedback, implementation and approval.
For this project, we wanted a design that reflected Bristol's street art scene, as well as designs that called for community action and created eye-catching visuals.
After a few rounds of feedback, we settled on a design that used a clasped-hands logo, as well as graffiti-esque style.
I then adapted this logo for a variety of purposes, including social media, posters and online communications.
Post 16 Participation
In 2019, Bristol Post 16 team launched their 'Post 16 Participation' initiative, which aimed to help 16-19 year-olds not in education, employment or training to find opportunities to grow and develop.
As part of this initiative, they opened up a contest for young graphic designers to submit their designs for this programme. I created a variety of designs for this, going from thumbnail to prototype to final design, which ended up winning the contest and being used as the logo for the official government page.
At age 18, this was my first professional graphic design job.
